Beloved Performer Pat Finn, a versatile actor, Famed For Parts in The Middle and Friends, Passes Away at 60 Years Old.
Stateside actor Pat Finn, who was seen in popular TV shows including Friends, Seinfeld and The Middle, has succumbed at 60 years old.
The comedic improv actor passed away at his residence in Los Angeles on Monday having undergone treatment for a cancer diagnosis from 2022 onward, according to reports.
"He saw everyone as a friend - only friends he had yet to meet," his loved ones said in a announcement.
They continued that he had "embraced life completely - with happiness and energy".
A Prolific Career on Screen
Finn's first television role was on a show starring George Wendt in the mid-90s, where he played the brother of the main character.
He was also seen in a regular part on Murphy Brown from 1995 to 1997.
He starred as the character Joe Mayo in the show Seinfeld in 1998, playing a host known to delegate unpleasant chores to his guests.
In the 90s and 2000s, he made guest appearances on several well-known programs, such as:
- The King of Queens

A Life in Improv
Outside of his television work, Finn was an improv performer and also taught at the University of Colorado, where he was a faculty member.
He was involved with a six-member improv team called Beer Shark Mice.
"Finn guided, supported, and advised countless students during his career and it's nearly impossible to find a person anyplace who has a bad thing to say about him," his relatives stated.
Paying homage, peer actor Richard Kind remarked there was "nobody more kind, gentle, and humorous, authentic human being you could encounter".
"Consistently upbeat, helping you be funnier and better. A great dad, a great guy," Kind wrote online.
Pat Finn is survived by his partner Donna, his three kids, and his parents and siblings.
