'Enduring a Horrific Ordeal': Loved Ones of Unaccounted For Young People Await Answers After Alpine Inferno
The loved ones of teens missing after a tragic fire at a venue in a Swiss alpine town are enduring an agonising wait for confirmed information and pleading for clues about their family members online.
The inferno ripped through the a popular bar in Cans-Montana, located in the mountains of the Valais region, in the early hours of the first day of the year. Confirmed images depict the ceiling igniting as bottles with fireworks are held aloft.
Emergency services have indicated that it could take considerable time to formally name the those who perished of the disaster, which resulted in the death of numerous partygoers and wounded another over a hundred. Officials noted on Friday that 113 of the injured have been accounted for, with work ongoing to name the remaining few.
In the meantime, loved ones have been posting on the internet to plead for any news about their missing relatives who were present at the venue that night.

Further Missing Individuals
Giovanni Tamburi, 16, is likewise unaccounted for. His parent explained that he had been on holiday but had gone out with friends and found himself at the bar.
