The City of Angels witnessed citywide celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-match World Series title. Supporters across the globe joined Angelenos in jubilation, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a team has achieved consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Enormous Crowds
Los Angeles area celebrations included a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Online footage depict thousands of Angelenos packing city center avenues, many displaying handmade banners and team flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the masses, hoisting the championship trophy proudly.
