Salah Extends Statement to Liverpool Dressing Room, Says Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has disclosed that the Egyptian forward expressed regret to the group of players following the controversy from his televised remarks.

He was omitted from a vital match following making accusations and stating his connection to the head coach had soured.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, I apologise.’”
The head coach has previously declined to reveal on whether he received a personal apology from the veteran striker.

He emphasized that the team's response stayed normal. “He was the exact same Mo, his demeanour was positive and everybody was exactly the same with him,” Jones added.
Jones also implied that a teammate fighting for a place is a positive trait. “I get that there are certain ways you can go about things,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just be on the bench, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”
Positive Results
Their results have been impressive in the matches since the situation. The player is convinced the Salah's words were not intended to destabilise the squad.
“If passion has boiled over, it’s always been from a good place,” Jones concluded. “We’re past that now and we’re uniting strongly, getting results and securing victories.”
