The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Passed Away in a Los Angeles Vehicle Accident

The visionary game developer, who helped create the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has died in a vehicle crash in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.

His passing was verified by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the video game company that he helped create.

The influential game designer died after his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a freeway in LA on Sunday morning, US media outlets report.

"This is a devastating loss, and we stand with Vince's family, those closest to him, and the countless individuals inspired by his legacy," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts commented.
